The Calleguas Municipal Water District Board passed a resolution changing their Ordinance 14 and Notice to Builders and Developers, reversing a policy for agricultural meters which stated “There will be no charge for meters serving agriculture exclusively”.
The new policy imposes a Capital Construction Charge (CCC) for new AG meters at the same cost as for builders and developers taking effect June 18, 2012. For example, the CCC for a 4” meter is currently $55,878 and for a 6” meter is $116,406. The fee is non-refundable and subject to change. See the revised “Ordinance 14” and newly titled “Notice to Applicants”.
